Welcome to the edaForum

For more than 20 years, the edacentrum has been organizing the annual edaForum for decision-makers. With its unique combination of economically and technically oriented lectures on the value of electronics, design and applications (EDA), the edaForum provides important information for securing the future of business. In addition to the technical challenges in the development of microelectronic systems and their applications, the invited contributions by high-ranking speakers will focus on current topics of particular economic and strategic importance.

The eighteenth edaForum organized by edacentrum took place in Berlin - as in the previous year. It focused on current and future applications of microelectronics. Decision-makers from industry, high-ranking scientists and representatives from politics met at the NH Collection Berlin Mitte at Checkpoint Charlie on December 3-4, 2024 to discuss strategic issues relating to the requirements of applications for microelectronics design. Organizational details

The lecture program began in the afternoon of 03.12.2024 at the NH Collection Berlin Mitte at Checkpoint Charlie, continued in the morning of 04.12.2024 and ended after a joint lunch at around 13:30. On the evening of 03.12.2024, the lecture program was followed by an evening event, which provided an opportunity for many stimulating discussions over culinary delicacies.

MICROELECTRONICS FOR FUTURE 24 directly after the edaForum

On the afternoon of 4 December 2024, the event “MICROELECTRONICS FOR FUTURE 2024: Why Europe needs a resilient ecosystem” organized by VDE and ZVEI took place in the F.A.Z. Atrium Berlin. Information about the event can be found here. All edaForum participants who were interested in participating in MICROELECTRONICS FOR FUTURE 2024 were able to register for the edaForum on a contingent list, which the edacentrum negotiated with the organizers and through which participation could be made possible in all cases.

EDA is a key technology that enables the boundaries of microelectronics to be pushed further and further. The complexity that we can manage today would be unthinkable without these tools.
