The city of Berlin

Berlin, as the German capital, is one of the most exciting cities in Europe and is increasingly seen as a hub between Eastern and Western Europe. Its dynamism and modernity make Berlin a prime location for companies in forward-looking sectors. Major international firms have established their offices there. Communication, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit come together in this research-intensive, high-tech hub to form an ideal test market for innovation.

Berlin’s history – from Prussian splendour through the division of the city after the Second World War to the fall of the Berlin Wall – is reflected in both the city’s architecture and its museums. Some 36 years after reunification, Berlin, with its newly redesigned city centre, is more vibrant than ever. The city’s unique diversity is evident in all areas, including art and culture, architecture and business, gastronomy and nightlife.
