design? This talk will consider the diversity of application and performance requirements at the edge, the factors that drive the choice of implementation fabrics, the subsystems that enable edge node design, incorporating MEMS sensors, ultra-low power at the edge, and the Cadence technologies and partnerships to realize these edge node designs.

Curriculum Vitae

Ian Dennison is a Senior Group Director for the Custom IC and PCB Group at Cadence Design Systems, based in Livingston, Scotland. Ian’s experience spans 30 years in EDA, incorporating multiple leadership roles within Cadence R&D and marketing. Ian’s primary expertise is in analog and mixed-signal design and verification products, with a recent focus on the internet of things. Ian received his BSc in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh.
