Sean Redmond, Vice President Cadence Design Systems, EMEA

Abstract

EDA companies like to give you the answer. Ideally the answer is simple and summarized in a snappy phrase full of acronyms. Yet in real life electronic product development life is not like that. With ever increasing complexity and shorter windows of opportunity the executive stress levels are exploding. In the short history of EDA there are many stories of failure to deliver on the promise, fueling an engineering cynicism to the quick and easy EDA answer. For Cadence we have learnt that design chain leadership is not a destination but a journey. Join this journey to learn how Cadence partners their customers to design successful sustainably profitable electronic products.
