TRACE ConsortiaOn December 4-5, 2019 the 2nd Workshop of the recently founded VDE-ITG Expert Group MN5.7 "Platform for automotive semiconductor requirements along the supply chain" [VDE ITG MN 5.7] will take place in Munich at NXP.

This is the chance to collaborate in a pre-competitive, anti-trust compliant set-up between carOEMs, tier1, component suppliers and research institutes & universities. This will ensure that our industry is ready for future challenges of the Automotive sector including the use of semiconductor devices in Automotive that were not specifically defined and developed for this market. Welcome are experts, who want to shape our future in the Automotive electronics Industry. Workshop coordinator will be Andreas Aal, VW AG.

Information on the Kick-off event of MN5.7 can be found here. More information to follow here or via the VDE ITG website

The TRACE consortium is very pleased that we have been able to initiate this technical committee. With the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft of the VDE, we have another important technical organization in which we can introduce the TRACE methodology into an expert group and standardization work and then implement the results of our project sustainably and concretely in the direction of standards.
