On March 7- 9, 2018, thirteen companies partook in a workshop of Work Package 8, focusing on the status of the three demonstrators and the next steps.
The TRACE project is soon entering the third and final year. Thus the demonstrators are not only focusing to show the benefits and challenges of using consumer electronics in automotive and automation, but also how the TRACE methodology enables the transition. An important outcome of the meeting was sharing of necessary mitigation strategies for increased reliability of systems using CE electronics. Improvements for specifications of how CE electronics is tested were also discussed.
