Leakage Aware Design for Next Generation's SoCs

This course is a one day edition of a series of "Leakage Aware Design for Next Generation's SoCs" courses and workshops in Europe. The course will have a strong focus on the foundations of leakage estimation and optimization for digital designers, also presenting practical design techniques, case studies and tools demo to design the next generation of low-power nanoelectronic digital systems.

The series of "Leakage Aware Design for Next Generation's SoCs" courses and workshops is developed by the European CLEAN project. Its achieved R&D results will be made available to the scientific and industrial communities during and after project lifetime.

The edacentrum GmbH was founded on 1 January 2005 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the edacentrum e.V., an association of major semiconductor and EDA companies based in or with legal subsidiaries in Germany, including such companies as Infineon, Nokia, Bosch, Atmel, and Philips. The mission of the edacentrum GmbH is to provide individual services in the EDA sector, including consulting, the organization of trainings, courses and networking events, the dissemination of information material, and project management. Although the edacentrum GmbH itself is a still young company, its activities are in continuation of the edacentrum e.V., which has successfully established as the German EDA competence centre since its founding in 2001. In CLEAN, edacentrum will participate to the training activities (Activity A6).
