Welcome at the English edaForum23 Website!

For almost 20 years the edacentrum has been organizing the edaForum for decision-makers on a regular basis. With its unique combination of economically and technically oriented lectures on the value of electronics, design and applications (EDA), the edaForum provides important information for securing the company's future. In addition to the technical challenges in the development of microelectronic systems and their applications, the invited contributions of high-ranking speakers focus on current topics of in particular economic and strategic importance.

The edaForum23 will take place November 7-8, 2022 in Berlin,
in the Hotel Crowne Plaza Berlin Potsdamer Platz.

Look forward to an exciting programme with the following topics:

• Silicon Life-Cycle Management and challenges for testing electronic circuits and systems.
• Perspectives of optical technology for on-chip communication compared to classical electrical approaches
• Presentation of the network "Chipdesign Germany", which is initiated by the BMBF in the context of the design initiative microelectronics
• Status of the design platform planned within the framework of the EU Chips Act
• Analysis of strategic challenges for chip design and microelectronics in Germany
• Presentation of a new study on RISC-V by acatech

The lecture programme will start on November 7th 2023 at 16:30 at the Hotel Crowne Plaza Berlin Potsdamer Platz, will continue in the morning of November 8th 2023 and will end after a joint lunch at about 14:00. On November 7th.2023, the lecture programme will be followed by an evening event, which will give you the opportunity for many stimulating discussions while enjoying culinary delicacies. We will inform you when you can view the final programme and register on our website.

On the afternoon of 8 November 2023, the event organised by VDE and ZVEI "MICROELECTRONICS FOR FUTURE 2023: How do we create a strong ecosystem in Europe?" will take place at the F.A.Z.
