[1] Hannover/Dresden - The edaWorkshop [2] will take place this year from 14-16 May 2019 in Dresden together with the Nanoelectronics Applications, Design and Technology Conference (ADTC). In addition to the current research projects on EDA = Electronics, Design and Applications, the event presents keynotes by Andrew B. Kangh from the University of San Diego and Markus Sonnemann from Robert Bosch GmbH as special highlights. In addition, there will be nine further sessions, including a special session on European research strategy and a panel discussion from the automotive sector.

The edaWorkshop is the central German event on EDA in the sense of electronics, design and applications as well as in the classical sense of electronic design automation. In odd years it takes place in cooperation with the ADTC (Nanoelectronics Applications, Design and Technology Conference) in Dresden. It offers the best conditions for the publication and discussion of application-oriented EDA research results. The balanced presence of science and application creates ideal opportunities for professional exchange with scientific demands, combined with industrial benefits.
