ANACAD is a research and development center of EDA tools. The company is focused on analog and mixed signal simulation tools: it is providing well-known proven products on the market such as ELDO. Recently, ANACAD has delivered a new generation of products: the first VHDL-AMS simulator and a RF-IC simulator using the state-of-the-art algorithms of this industry. The products are distributed world-wide by Mentor Graphics.
Let's explain the motivation of ANACAD for ANASTASIA. Actually, ANACAD has 3 individual very competitive products: the ELDO analog circuit simulator and the newly announced products: ADVance RF-IC simulator and ADVance MS mixed-signal simulator. With the System On Chip strategy, there is a strong need on the market to simulate the different functions altogether: ANACAD is among the few companies that have the basic products and knowledge to fulfil the need. ANACAD has the objective to take the market leadership providing a solution to simulate a complete system, containing RF, analog, digital and software elements. After this 2 years project, we should be able to confirm that ANACAD has defined the adequate algorithms and is in the right direction to develop products for the market
