edacentrum takes protecting your personal details very seriously. We process personal data obtained when people visit our websites in accordance with the current data protection regulations. We neither publish your data nor pass it on to third parties without authorization.

1. Data collecting and processing when the Internet is accessed

If you visit our websites our web servers temporarily save every access in a log file. The following data are collected and saved until they are automatically deleted:

- IP address of the inquiring computer
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the accessed data
- Volume of data transmitted
- Report on whether access was successful
- Identification data of the browser and operating system
- Website where access was carried out
- Name of your Internet connect provider

This data processing is carried out with the purpose of making it possible to use the website (connection set-up), for system security, for the technical administration of the network infrastructure as well as for optimizing what we offer on the Internet.

Personal details are not processed unless you have expressly allowed broader processing.

2. Use and disclosure of personal details

Each and every use of your personal details will only be for the purposes named and to the extent which is required to achieve these purposes.
Personal details will only be submitted to state-controlled establishments and authorities within the framework of compelling national laws or when disclosure is necessary for prosecution if our network infrastructure is attacked. Disclosure to third parties for other purposes does not occur.

3. Consent for broader use

The use of certain offers on our website such as newsletters or inter-office websites requires prior registration and broader processing of personal data, for instance long-term saving of e-mail addresses, user identification and passwords. Such data will only be used if you have submitted this to us and given your prior consent to such use.

Newsletters
In order to register for the edacentrum’s newsletter service we need at least your e-mail address, where the newsletter should be sent. Further information is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally and to deal with questions concerning the e-mail address. If the newsletter is sent by post we need details of your postal address. You may cancel any of our newsletters which you have subscribed to at any time. To do this you can either send us an e-mail or cancel using the link at the end of the newsletter.

Orders
If you order products from our online shop or information materials, we only use the address data provided in order to process the order. Nothing is disclosed to third parties.

Whenever in the course of processing the order data is passed on to service providers they too are bound by the BDSG (Federal Data Protection Law) as well as other legal regulations. Only those details will be saved, and/or passed on to service providers, which are necessary for trade procedure and for carrying out your order efficiently.

6. Links to the websites of other providers

Our websites may have links to other providers’ websites. We wish to point out that this data protection declaration applies exclusively to edacentrum’s own websites. We have no influence on, nor do we check, whether other providers stick to current data protection regulations.

We expressly deny third parties the right to use the contact details, which are published within the framework of the obligatory imprint, for the purpose of sending advertising and information material that was not specifically requested. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal steps where unsolicited advertising material is sent, for instance by spam mail.

7. Right to information and contact details

You are entitled to information concerning the personal data saved about you and furthermore you have the right to have incorrect data corrected, to block and to delete it. If you have registered as a user for some of edacentrum’s services we partly offer you the possibility of inspecting the data yourself and of deleting or changing it where appropriate.
